Artist Statement
Osaka, Japan. In the middle of the popular district of Shinsekai (New world) stands the Tsutenkaku tower, sort of small Eiffel tower with a big head. At its feet a kitschy neighborhood with small restaurants, shops-gadgets, bars, spas and gambling houses. A very graphic environment, combination of simple shapes, straight lines, accumulation of signs and flat colors.
