Artist Statement
Lights of the city - This kaleidoscope-like construction allows free interpretations. Among other things, it also associates a large fireworks display. Lights and colors fly into the evening sky and become the dazzling highlight of a special day.
The artwork is built up in many thin layers using a glazing technique to create the most even surface possible. Each color was hand mixed from shades of the 3 primary colors.
The artwork can also be provided with a matching color shadow gap frame.
