About Life Snacks
People often say that life is unpredictable, and the unpredictable things which the Chinese sometimes refer are snacks of life. It is where the title of this painting comes from, and it also the reflects on the beautiful human life. What is on the plate which this girl holds in her hands is death. Everyone lives a vivid life until death calls. Death is cold and brutal, yet when one has to face it, one should keep in mind the unpredictability of human life. This is the motif of this series.
