What is meditation? In a deep sense, meditation is a tool of the spiritual teachings of Buddhism, which helps to clear the mind and learn how to control it. This allows you to achieve an inner state of calmness of mind and body with full awareness and mindfulness. For me, painting is meditation. I am completely immersed in the process. In this painting, you can feel the immersion through the transition from a light tone to a darker one. Gold glitters through the light turquoise layers of paint, calm white color dominates.
Original mixed media and acrylic artwork with gold sheets. Painted on gallery stretched linen canvas. Edges are in natural gray color. The canvas is varnished, delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Signed on the front and back.
NB! To ship the canvas I remove it from the bars and ship it in the tube. When received you just have to take it to your local framers to get it stretched on the bars again.
