Artist Statement
Sahasrara chakra (or akasha chakra) is the psychoenergetic centre of the human subtle body, located in the region of the crown. It is not always called a chakra, since it is located outside the body and is a space that connects a person with various energies of the cosmos. The Sahasrara chakra is depicted in the form of a lotus with a thousand petals (aspects), here a thousand is a symbol of infinity.
