Artist Statement
"Trace" is an artwork that belongs to the "Black and White" series. It is a graphic gesture that is based on ancient symbols and is a contrast to very subtle line elements of squares that appear in the background.
It is prepared with a thin layer of metallic pigment very diluted in casein glue and a touch of yellow light that generates a halo to the squares of blue line also very diluted and almost transparent that give a vaporous sensation to the background and in the first level they appear these black shapes that seem to dance and emerge from the canvas like a stroke of symbol or old typography.
The artwork is shipped rolled up in a tube.
