Remnant Street is a layered street dictated by the time before of people moving through a crossing on Regents Street . Two sequences at different times have been recorded and transferred into a drawing form, the sequences are dictated by the changing of the lights and pedestrian crossings. Only parts are revealed from the first sequence they appear to us like ghosts or slow caption photography and the second sequence is more fixed.

Annabelle Shelton lives and works in Milton Keynes. She gained her B.A.Hons in Fine Art at Staffordshire University and her M.A. Fine Art Practice at Birmingham City University in 2001. Shelton predominately works in watercolour and graphites on aluminium panels. Her subject matter looks to people in space and place extracting them from their surroundings and placing them in a non space, the work references the modern condition and the psychodynamics of a space.
