Artist statement
This is a location that I have visited on many occasions under a variety of weather conditions, rain, wind, extreme heat, cloudy days, blue sky days, sunrise and sunset. It's a location that's close to my heart and the construction of the road around the trees shows compassion for nature and a nod to sustainability. The two trees have a close connection and their roots most likely intertwine under the surface, a partnership, a family or maybe just two trees.
