Antoh (Antonio Mansueto) lives in Milano and was born in Naples in 1960. He has exhibited in Italy, France, Germany, USA, Romania. He started painting from the age of 10 under the guidance of Neapolitan artists. As a teenager, he adopted a surrealist style. He studied physics and then moved to Milan, where, while working for a bank, he attended the group of artists of the Figural Observatory (dedicated to naked pose in movement), studied ceramics and frequented the artist and designer Bruno Munari (1907-1998), a signatory artist of the Second Futurism .
At the age of 40 he had a strong period of psychological crisis, after which he strengthened his creative vein and accelerated his artistic career.
In the 2000s he created the Artintensive project with other artists, exhibiting for some years with Midori McCabe, Paolo Manazza, Raffaello Talò and others.
The maturation of a well-recognizable personal style took place in the early years after 2000, through an exhibition and creative path that integrated various currents of the twentieth century (references to Fauvism, surrealism and abstract expressionism, pop art, street art, deconstructivism, art brut).
He designs the art scarves produced by the A.Quaranta Locatelli brand of Naples.
As an art economist he coordinates the study group on cultural heritage of the Italian Financial Analysts Association (of which he was a member of the board of directors) he holds conferences and publishes essays on the market and art management, as well as reviews to galleries and museums. He has written in many magazines, including the AIAF magazine, Artslife and Artribune.
