Artist Statement
Generations is a unique glaze painting on a ceramic plate. The artwork depicts the conversation between two gestural figures - one on the right is bigger and taller, and one on the left is smaller, younger.
The artwork is framed and ready to hang. The actual image is 8*8 cm / 3*3 inches. The overall framed size of the artwork 18*18 cm / 7*7 inches.

Anton Maliar was born in 1986 in a small town near Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
He has completed a 7-year secondary art academy.
Anton has been selling his art since 2017 via established online galleries.
The main inspiration for Anton is common objects, scenes, people, and life situations. Maliar prefers working with fast-drying media such as watercolors, acrylics, and gouache. Very often he incorporates charcoal and ink in the artworks. Anton also is skilled with ceramic art, as he has taken individual courses by established Ukrainian artists in this field. The unexpected behavior of glazes amazes the artist.
In his practice, Anton relies on tools and materials both by famous international brands as well as ones made by local and niche manufacturers and craftsmen. The artist makes his own artisan charcoal he uses in his works.
In a free time, Anton enjoys listening to music. A collector himself, Anton collects art inspired clothes.
