Artist statement
I took an early morning walk along Clam Creek on Jekyll Island in Georgia, and witnessed the most amazing morning clouds. The sun made an attempt to burn them off but the clouds were too well formed. Incredible pastels of orange and periwinkle painted the sky and inspired this painting. A beautiful coastal island landscape.
