Topographic landscape series is the background. I use this technique in my current works. This serie is an explosion into textures and color in big sizes.

To me landscape is an excuse to work with painting. It is a content that arises during the process of the work. In this series, I approach landscape views from a topographical perspective. I like how this type of work connects with the current way we have to understand space thanks to drones and satellites that help us to acquaint ourselves in an abstract way with both terrestrial and extraterrestrial landscapes.

At the same time, these works approach, or reveal a connection with everything related to baroque painting, and the way of understanding the light veiled by this family of classic Baroque painters such as Caravaggio or Zurbarán.
