Artist Statement

Fine Art print created with the highest requirements of quality. Printed by a professional photographic and digital printing laboratory (with which I usually work for my own exhibitions) on Canson Infinity Edition Etching Rag 310gsm, a 100% cotton museum grade Fine Art paper. Every print is hand-signed and numbered Limited edition of 15 on the back, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The picture above belongs to a series untitled "Les rives du silence" (Shores of Silence"). This series is made up of 20 photographs taken in Autumn and Winter on the shores of lakes Annecy (France) and Lake Geneva (Switzerland).
The landscape in each of these images is reduced to its most minimalist expression: abandoned pontoons, mountains erased by mist, reeds stirred by the wind, water smoother than a mirror. Everything there seems to be frozen in a time beyond time, sempiternal, a time which echoes Arthur Rimbaud's famous last verse: "It is found again. - What ? - Eternity".
