Artist Statement
Full Flush also takes from the ideas of the painting Flush but the focus is solely on the color red.
It is an exploration of the many connotations a color might have. How we relate to color is also cultural, so Stone is sure while she may relate red to blushing, passion, heat, blood, flowers, fruit, anger, someone from another culture may have a very different feeling about red.
