Artist Statement
Electro Florals - a still life series of flowers “painted” using colored gels with a pen flashlight. Each image was made in the span of a few minutes, balancing strobe lighting with the colored light. The transparency of the flowers dictates how the colors blend together. Experimenting with techniques in the studio during quarantine.
