Artist Statement
It is my own shadow that I carry with me. The sarcasm that holds my heart firmly in its claws. Bleeding, thereby clearing itself. The pain can drain away. The golden sun is the joke that sarcasm brings with it. No light, no shadow. The garland of leaves snaking across and through the picture are the hidden eyes that cannot be seen at first sight and see everything. Like the shadow, mine and sarcasm.
