Wong Ka Yi (1998), Bethany, born in Hong Kong, Wong’s work is a collection of daily life objects, folk wisdom, human relations, and social interactions. Her pieces are not only about the obsession with the physicality of objects, but they are the explorations of details in our
daily lives and the underlying truth. With the in-depth study in the fusion of media, including painting, performance, sculpture, archival artwork, she believes it is the honest and natural way to document the reality beyond what we perceive regularly. Through the process, she prudently reflects on her surroundings and inner world and poetically re-expresses them.
