Artist statement
The small superimposed thumbnail paintings resting over this stormy background have an unexpected time-stretching effect, like an extended cadence slowly drawing a musical composition to a close. Endings are necessary and often difficult, but in any case, they are an essential part of life, and that is worth meditating on.
