Artist Statement
Earth 008 is a very graphic and colorful painting. I tried to work on a multicolored, rich, vibrant universe, combining the strength and uniqueness of the four elements. I worked with the batik technique, an ancestral process dedicated to textile printing which means "wax writing". This allows me to paint with reserves of white. I work in watercolor on Japanese paper, handmade. The work is sold with its frame and its certificate of authenticity.
