Chonghan Lim was born in Daejeon, South Korea. He lived in Seoul until he graduated high school. He moved to Chicago and went to School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Now, he is staying in Seoul, South Korea.
He is interested in the concept of "fold", written by a French philosopher, Gilles Deleuze, which represents the absence of boundaries between opposites. He is influenced by Robert Mangold, Robert William, and especially Steven Parrino, in architectural approaches.
