Artist Statement
This work is part of the 'imagery'series. It is named after the great movie (2001) based on the life of the American mathematician John Nash. The story is about Nash's days at Princeton University and begins to develop paranoid schizophrenia and delusional episodes. This painting visualizes the concept of being held captive in two different worlds. The green and yellow field represents intellect, luck and life. The blue and purple field is about solitude and mystery. In the middle a thick black line that represents the drama.
