This artwork is a statement against the gradual heating of the earth’s climate system due to human activities. As a result, sea levels rise, arctic ice recedes, and crucial habitats may no longer be hospitable for certain animals or plants. Our climate is changing faster than predicted and can be considered as a warning of great importance. This painting visualises the gradual disruptive impact on earth’s surface.
