In his monochrome paintings Christoph Schrein is creating an image that appears in flowing motion caused by the superposition of wave-shaped light-reflecting color streams that initiate an complex space of illusion of depth.

From influences of Tachisme, New British Sculpture and also current trends in Generative Art, Christoph Schrein developed an own imagery, which positions itself in contemporary abstract painting.
His artwork consists in thoughts, landscapes, physical non-spaces, forming undulating colour streams and fluent movements that unite creating a complex composition.
