Shot long after sunset, this often-photographed dilapidated house in Central Hawkes Bay sits under an intense and moody sky, with a miraculous last sliver of sun sneaking out through the hills behind and making a small portion of the cloud turn pink.

Shot on Kodak Portra 800ASA 35mm film. The image has been professionally scanned from the original 35mm negative, and printed using archival pigment ink on resin-coated Kodak lustre photographic paper. The black border indicates a full-frame uncropped image.

The traditional photographic paper size I rely on is not indicative of the size of the actual image on the print, as there needs to be white space to allow for framing as well as the edition number & signature.
The print will ship unframed; the 3rd image is an illustrative example.
