The inspiration of this serie comes tecnically from Pietr Mondrian and a painting he did in his first expressionist stage, “The Grey Tree” magna obra from the Master.

Describing himself as an "expressionist and informalist author," recurring themes that can be found in his compositions include female beauty, animals, and the complexity of nature. In addition, Piñeiro is also interested in analyzing the contact with the materials and defining the image according to the format.
