Artist Statement
"Virga - Black and Grey on Silver" explores the idea of an abstract skyscape/landscape as a spatial experience conceived and perceived without any reference of scale or direction, seeking to offer a 'direct' perception of space, without involving analytical or rational thought processes. "Virga - Black and Grey on Silver" was created combining traditional hand-drawing techniques with cutting-edge digital rendering tools. The artwork is fitted with aluminium subframe at the back, ready for hanging. Production time is 1 month from date of purchase + shipping.

Combining traditional hand-drawing techniques with cutting-edge digital rendering tools, the resulting pieces are large scale UV ink reliefs and lightboxes, and digital high-resolution animated loops.
Daniel was born in Prague, former Czechoslovakia. He lives in London. In parallel with his practice as a visual artist he is a Senior Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects, delivering high-profile projects around the world.
