From Italo Calvino book “Invisible Cities”, a travelogue to places that do not exist.
Inspired by light, movement and pattern, my goal is to infuse these elements and form an abstracted composition.
Painted with brushes and palette knife.
Mixed Media on gallery wrapped canvas - acrylic paint, impasto.
Edges are painted, requires no framing, so it is ready to hang.
A final varnish coat preserves the colors for extended time and protects the painting from dust and uv rays.
The painting is signed on the side and dated with name on the back.
