Russian artist Daria Shalik (b. 1987) is a contemporary artist exploring the theme of nature and botany. Daria is inspired by various manifestations of nature. Daria has her own author's style, which she developed herself. It is a combination of botanical oil painting and abstraction. Her first paintings were flowers in the style of hyperrealism, which gradually led her to her author's technique - a combination of botanical painting and abstraction.
In her paintings, Daria strives to create memorable images and works with a rich color scheme. Special color combinations are her specialty. Daria's works are often made in a mixed technique, she uses texture paste, acrylic, and oil.
