Artist Statement
This artwork is accompanied by an original poem -
I've believed everything I've heard about who I am
I believe I'm a body
I believe I was born
I believe I will die
I believe I'm an independent entity
I believe I think my thoughts and do my actions
I believe I occupy a certain amount of space and there are others out there who are in a separate space
I believe I can grow and change
But what if all this was not true?
What if I was none of these things?
What if everything I have believed in was false?
Who am I then?
