Artist Statement
For the past few years I have been living on the Mediterranean coast. Autumn is the beginning of the citrus season. Local markets are overflowing with bright colors and it is very pleasing to the eye and inspiring. These fruits are full of sunshine and look very juicy in any interior.
The paper is stretched on a stretcher, the edges of the artwork are painted. The painting is ready to hang and does not need a frame.
My work here is a single copy of my unique and original handiwork. It is made on special, high-quality 100% cotton paper designed for watercolor from the world’s best manufacturers and has a density of 300 grams/meter.
