About the art
Cosmic Web is a piece generated using a process I've been honing for a number of years now: filtering random noise to create organic-looking structures. This process can be used to create forms reminiscent of natural structures like clouds, landscapes or plants. Here, I've used a Delaney triangulation algorithm to show the interaction of multiple noise-fields at once. The result reminds me of some of the largest structures in our universe: the cosmic web of galaxy filaments, or perhaps the famous cosmic microwave background map.
