The depiction of the human desire to always want to have something outside of themselves. Humans are never satisfied with what they already have and always want more. In fact, awareness of a sense of belonging to oneself and making the best of one's potential is true wealth that transcends materiality.
Based in: Indonesia
Desy Febrianti is a young abstract artist from Indonesia. She describes her style as expressive-organized-abstract. Like chaos and order, she pours her thoughts into paintings as a controlled flow of emotions, feelings and timelines but layers them effectively, creating a total expressive abstraction. She hopes that through her works, art connoisseurs can capture the emotions and energy that she pours into her canvas. She believes her works are not meant to be understood but to be felt - an expression of her personal experience, yet carrying universal emotions and energies that allow people to relate to it.
