The artist uses oil painting as a medium to create works, Diao Qing-Chun's pursuit of the spiritual meaning of Chinese tradition is not manifested in simple image patchwork but transferring in his paintings spiritual & artistic aspects. The artist also integrates his macro perception of the power of nature and his feeling of the smallness of the instant thing into his elaborately conceived abstract aesthetic existence in the composition of the pictures which are hard to distinguish at first sight.
