About the art
Artist statement
This artwork is one of the series "Waters and rocks". Last summer I traveled with a sailboat and visited the most beautiful coasts. The Italian coast from Genoa to Portovenere has such a landscape with rocks and water which breaks against the coast. This became such an attraction for me, I started collecting different places and made a series of sketches and film photographs. I try to transmit what I felt when I was looking at it: the incredible energy of the sea, dynamics, color, its breath...
