Artist Statement

Green II embodies soothing, calming and serene Nature. It symbolises the grass on the coastline, the bamboo plantations, the tropical jungle rainforests, the green infringing the frozen snow in the darkenss of the night, the green that fringes the stillness of the desert, the rich grasslands, the oaks on the plantation and the green we need to survive the rising sea-levels and through life. Artist Paul Cezanne once said, “In order to make progress, there is only nature, and the eye is turned through contact with her.”
