Artist Statement
Part of a series of drawings worked on pale brown paper. In this piece, I was interested in the combination of colours and in the abstract representation of white blossom.

Elena Blanco is a Spanish artist and illustrator based in London since 2000. She started her creative practice as an architect working in different offices in Barcelona and the UK. After a long career break looking after her young children she started painting and illustrating in 2007 and since 2014 she’s worked full time in her art practice. Her work is sold and commissioned internationally.
