About the art
Artist statement
The artwork uses the ornament of the mosaics of the "Blue Mosque" - the symbol of the city of Mazar-i-Sharif in Afghanistan. This work is a reflection on how the life of women in this country has changed.
70*70cm, oil, cotton stretched canvas, 2022.
