Artist Statement
An imagined Ancient Greek warrior stems out of the flora on this work on paper. Figuration and abstraction collide in this composition as it is unclear whether we are looking at a still life scene, or a complex bright coloured pattern. Depth and perspective collapse into creating a fictional narrative.
