Artist Statement

Number one of a series of three paintings relating the Epic of King Geser. It describes its early struggles and victories against the many demons. Its style is inspired from religious art and its construction is in a Thangka format.
The artwork is now framed with external dimensions 144 x 83 cm.
Without frame, dimensions are 138 x 77cm.
