Artist Statement

IconCaretDown

Inspired by the geography of my childhood, the Niagara Escarpment was a wonderland of fossils, caves naturally pigmented to appear charred. This wall sculpture has a ceramic like quality despite being constructed out of paper and layered with a water based paintable resin. It works on its own or in a cluster of forms (other available upon request). The piece is so versatile that it reads remarkably well placed on table or shelf as a sculpture in the round.

Simple hanging devise on the back.
