Artist Statement
“Torque” is a visual representation of a tidal pool - a sense of going in all directions but getting nowhere. My experimentation with colour continues, layers of blues, browns and black ink creates the look of frigid waters. Small paper half circles and fixed onto an undulating foam armature and layered with a water based resin.
Framed in a painted wood shadow box.
D-rings on back.
