Erol, a trained Arts et Métiers engineer, has created a series of sculptures based on his mastery of digital technologies.

It is with computer tools that Erol expresses his universe more precisely. Visionary and sometimes activist, he questions our perception of the world. All these works decline a single fixe idea: to show what makes the essence of things.

Whether he simplifies these works to keep only the fundamental lines or pushes precision to the extreme as in his hyper-realistic representation of the planet Earth. It is always to show us the imprint of reality. He is not satisfied with apprehending technology as a tool among many others but it is an essential component of his creations.

He explores, uses, diverts and sometimes invents the technologies that are the basis of his work. He manipulates digital tools from conception to realization to produce new forms.

The almost mathematical digital treatment that Erol chooses for each of these works give them a great originality. He exalts the senses and transforms the relationship between the viewer and his sculptures.
