Estella Ng is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. In her second year of college, she mounted her first solo exhibition in Philadelphia, USA. Her work tends to be upbeat, with a strong tactile quality- demonstrating the joy and spontaneity of exploring the surface. Estella plays with colour, shape & rhythmic pattern in an organic way, instinctively using her gut to make both art (and life) decisions. Journalistic and inspired by music and travel, her paintings document trips taken in reality and in the furthest of dreams.
