Artist statement
This painting is part of a series of large works that have a great deal of complexity in their form, and it is only really seen in closeups, yet from a distance there is a different kind of form. The macro and the micro. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
This work is painted on professional-grade canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is 280 cm in width by 120 cm in height, and the sides are painted in the same manner as the surface. This painting is really to big to ship mounted and so it is shipped UNMOUNTED and ROLLED UP and will need stretching by the collector with their local framer. This is usually not expensive.
