Artist Statement
This artwork is about using colour, in this case pastels to harvest tranquil emotions. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
This work is painted with synthetic polymer acrylic and the surface is a professional-grade 12 oz canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is designed for a stretcher 3 meters wide by 1.42 meters high. This painting is shipped rolled up as it is too big to ship, so it will need remounting. Note that the actual painting is 20 cm wider and also in height to allow a colour wrap, that is, when remounted the sides will be painted in the same style as the front surface.
