Artist Statement
"Satan's ball" oil on canvas, 60*60 cm.
Another painting in my Masquerade series, based on Mikhail Bulgakhov's novel "The Master and Margarita". I used a photo by Vogue photographer Jean-Daniel Lorieux as a reference.
At this moment this artwork is the most detailed for me: I've never spent so much time on one painting and never painted so many people at once. I also love a color scheme of this artwork, so it can fit any interior, only if you like half-naked ladies of course:)
