Abstraction Pure I (Dragon's Flame) is the first canvas I made at the end of my master's degree in visual arts. At that moment, I was in an introspection that lasted several months in order to see the direction I was going to take in painting. Where was I after two years of higher education? To inspire and revitalize myself, I looked at a lot of abstract works by European painters. One evening, I took up my brushes again to create this flamboyant work. It was then that I started a series of abstract experiments that I called “Pure Abstraction”. I wanted to regain some freedom in painting. Reconnect with gesture and movement. Listening to my emotions and painting in a more instinctive way while keeping the textures and transparencies of colors visible. Abstraction Pure I is a captivating painting that warms our hearts.
