Artist Statement
Using my experience of landscape as a starting point, my studio practice engages with the physical, experimenting with diverse and dynamic mark making. Layers of paint accumulate and translate into images referencing features in nature. My paintings offer a fleeting snapshot of the dynamic process of painting, which can be likened to the fragility of the rapidly disappearing landscapes they represent.
Comes with a white handmade frame and is fitted with D-rings, strung ready to hang.
