A cigar is a rolled package of dried and fermented tobacco leaves, intended to be smoked. Cigars are produced in a variety of sizes and shapes. Since the 20th century, almost all cigars are made up of three distinct components: the filler, the binder leaf that holds the filler together and the wrapper leaf, which is often the highest quality leaf used. Smoking is a practice in which a substance is burned and the resulting smoke is usually breathed in to be tasted and absorbed into the bloodstream.
