The fairy forest, mixed media on canvas, 80X80 cm
A beautiful symphony of blue, turquoise, warm and cold greens, and a few spots of pink, purple, enlightning the forest. An imaginary landscape, or woodscape, nearly abstract, where your imagination may dreams of fairies, elfes, and all the little mysterious people of the nature... While painting, I was thinking that blue flowers were fairies...
This painting is made with acrylic, acrylic ink and shellac ink. There's a lot of transparent layers which give a depth and light to the painting. Colors are strong and pures. I only use high quality acrylic professional paintings from the famous brands Golden and Liquitex. The shellac ink gives wonderful interesting cracking textures on the dark branches of the trees.
This is a one of a kind painting, signed on the front. The artwork is ready to hang with a system on the back.
Edges are painted : no need to frame.

Lives and Works: Vouvray
Fabienne Monestier is a French professionnal painter.
She is graduated in Fine Art. She studied experimental cinema and engraving at the art school "Institut d'Arts Visuels" of Orléans, France.
But her favorite practice, in cinema, was to draw the story-boards !
She get an Art School High Diploma in 1989. She really began painting in 1994.
Main time, she paints from imagination, because she likes the freedom of evocation. She likes working in figurative, abstract, impressionism or photorealism ways. She always says that the most important, for her, is to create images !
All her artworks are original pieces, paintings and drawings, direct from her studio in Touraine, in the Loire Valley, France.
She is also a lyrical mezzo singer in the professionnal choir from Opera of Tours, France.
